| Following landing, STS-121 Commander Steve Lindsay thanks his five crewmates and the Kennedy Space Center shuttle team for a job well done before departing the runway. Discovery landed at Kennedy's Shuttle Landing Facility at 9:14 a.m. EDT. During the 13-day mission, the STS-121 crew tested new equipment and procedures to improve shuttle safety, and delivered supplies and made repairs to the International Space Station. | |
